Ryan Mack
Ryan brings clarity, perspective, and confidence to his clients’ financial lives through a holistic financial planning approach that contextualizes every decision within the full picture. He helps individuals and families understand not just what choices they are making, but how those choices connect across investments, taxes, retirement, insurance, estate planning, and day-to-day cash flow. By translating complexity into clear, meaningful insight, Ryan enables clients to move forward with confidence and intention.
Ryan’s strength lies in his ability to contextualize a client’s complete financial situation, ensuring that no strategy is viewed in isolation and every recommendation aligns with the client’s goals, values, and long-term vision. Through comprehensive planning, he helps clients evaluate trade-offs, and make informed decisions that support both financial security and a more calm and fulfilling life.
Ryan brings over 15 years of industry experience, including 12 years at Fidelity Investments and three years in the independent advisory space before joining GK Wealth Management. This background allows him to blend institutional discipline with independent flexibility—providing thoughtful, coordinated planning and advice.
Ryan earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master of Business Administration from the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He also holds a Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from the University of California, Berkeley. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, Ryan provides integrated guidance across investment management, retirement planning, tax planning, insurance planning, and estate planning, always with the broader context in mind.
Beyond his advisory work, Ryan is passionate about financial education and community involvement. He volunteers as a financial literacy instructor with Junior Achievement, helping teach money skills and career readiness to children and teenagers. He also coaches youth and beginner adult ice hockey and owns a retail hockey store—known locally as “The Biggest Little Hockey Shop in the World.”
Outside the office, Ryan enjoys both physical and mental pursuits, including reading, ice hockey, tennis, golf, skiing, time in nature, yoga, and meditation. He stays active with his two energetic sons, spending time biking, rollerblading, hiking, and exploring bookstores and libraries together. As a middle child, Ryan values harmony and understanding—qualities that naturally carry into his professional work and personal relationships. A lifelong learner, he once learned to play the trombone well enough, to a spot in Harold Hill’s band in The Music Man during fourth grade.
